This is a 'concept-album' around Maurice Ravel and his special relation with Helene Jourdan Mourhange, a dear friend and violinist. The programme is set-up in order to take the listener by the hand into Ravel's musical world through a series of pieces which are gradually more deep and complex. The music is played on a 1935 Hautrive piano, while violin and cello are played on gut strings. The Tzigane is in the rarest version for Lutheal (Pleyel, 1910), a period prepared piano with a gipsy character.

The Rubano Tapes Vol. 1 is a live album by The Smashing Pumpkins documenting 18 songs from early live shows ranging from 1988 to 1991. It is the third archive release by the band, and as the name implies, the first of multiple volumes of The Rubano Tapes. Rubano refers to Billy Corgan's close friend, Mike Rubano (known to the band as "Cuz"), that accompanied the band and recorded their live shows and rehearsals from 1988 to 1991. The album was available for presale on April 4, 2022. 2,000 units were pressed on ice blue vinyl and first made available for purchase in-store at Madame ZuZu's on June 18, 2022. Online purchases started shipping in August, with the autographed copies some time afterward.

Along with early albums by artists as diverse as Ronnie James Dio and Yvonne Elliman, Purple Records tenth release was from a new band called Silverhead who featured future Blondie bassist Nigel Harrison, future Robert Plant guitarist Robbie Blunt, and legendary front man Michael Des Barres.

On a daily basis new findings are added to the research portfolio, not only with regards to the famous Salzburgian’s life – hasn’t that been dissected to death? – but also about each and every one of his compositions, continuously getting reframed, analyzed and compared. The exegesis of the Mozartverse is a full-time job to many. The works on this recording alone raise a bunch of questions of which several remain unanswered.

Live In Verona is an exceptional recording of the complete show, featuring the Hard-Rock veterans together with a full orchestra. The Neue Philharmonie, a 38-piece orchestra from Frankfurt, accompanied them for the whole European leg of the tour. Deep Purple connected with the orchestra instantaneously, which led to some unique, outstanding moments during the tour, when orchestra members surprised the band with original arrangements. It created the sort of environment that we could all equally enjoy., says Airey. Both eventually came together as one, creating an electrifying night.

Pianist and composer Ethan Iverson has long celebrated both the rich tradition and continuous evolution of jazz. So, it’s fitting that he would eventually take his place on the roster of Blue Note Records, which has provided a home for innovation rooted in the music’s foundations throughout its eight-decade history. Iverson makes his Blue Note debut with the remarkable Every Note Is True, an engaging and evocative date featuring a masterful new trio with bassist Larry Grenadier and legendary drummer Jack DeJohnette. The album is an opportunity for the pianist to look back at and expand upon his own musical history as he revisits the pop / rock influenced jazz style of The Bad Plus, the influential trio that Iverson co-founded in 2000.

Three CD collection that brings together Mari Wilson's best loved material from her time signed to the Compact Organization spanning her studio album and 10 single releases over the period of 1980-85. CD 3 includes eight new remixes by the original writer/producer Tot Taylor, ably assisted by Joe Dworniak using the original multi-track tapes. Appearing on CD for the first time includes the U. S. Remix of 'Just What I Always Wanted', 'One Day Is A Lifetime - Alternate Version', a 7" DJ edit of 'Wonderful' and two versions of 'Let's Make This Last'. Mari Wilson (The Neasden Queen Of Soul) first arrived on the scene in the early 80s with her skyscraper beehive, a bizarre sense of fashion and fully choreographed 12-piece band The Wilsations. Mari's live shows were an event - pure entertainment.
